Making a New Home

I’m settling into my new place, a condo on the edge of a pond and 240-acre wood. I’m still nesting, but I’m really happy with how it’s turning out. It’s small! (720 sq ft) but cozy and comfortable.

Dawn in the marsh.
Good morning, moon. Good morning, marsh. Good morning, red-winged blackbirds.

“Once upon a time, when women were birds, there was the simple understanding that to sing at dawn and to sing at dusk was to heal the world through joy. The birds still remember what we have forgotten, that the world is meant to be celebrated.” – Terry Tempest Williams
