After San Antonio, just before heading home, my friend Lisa Blinn swooped in from Houston and took me down to the Gulf of Mexico for a mini-retreat. We visited Padre Island National Seashore and soaked up Mama Ocean’s warm winds and waves. I loved watching the flight of Heron, Egret, and Pelican, and the shoreline antics of Gull, Sandpiper, and Killdeer.
I am carrying these sounds, scents, and textures home in my heart.
