The Washington State Dept. of Health begins its Covid-19 information page with these words:
“We now know that COVID-19 is here to stay for the foreseeable future. It’s important to understand how to live our lives while keeping ourselves, loved ones and community as safe as possible. How can we do that? By using all the tools we’ve learned so far: getting vaccinated and boosted, getting tested and staying home if sick or exposed, wearing a mask in crowds, and keeping our distance.”
We will adhere to the Washington State Dept. of Health guidelines regarding Covid-19 at the time of the retreat. Current guidelines regarding masks can be found here.
In addition:
- Proof of vaccination is required to attend any Gaian Soul Gathering. Please send a scan or photo of your vaccination card as you complete your registration. We also ask all participants to test negative for Covid-19 a few days before traveling.
- Before and after the test, please socially quarantine as much as possible before you arrive at Aldermarsh. Please avoid public gatherings or large events.
- Please be mindful while traveling and follow hygiene protocols.
- Bring a Covid-19 testing kit with you, just in case you feel unwell during the retreat.
There will be plenty of soap, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes available at Aldermarsh.
Unless you stay in one of the two tiny cabins, you will be sharing a room with another person. All bathrooms are shared.
At the time of writing (July 2023), we are not requiring masks while we are together. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, of course, please do!
If you have any questions, please email me. I’m happy to talk about your concerns.
I hope you appreciate the protocols I’ve put in place. I know you know that it’s for the safety of everyone concerned. Thank you for listening. I look forward to gathering with you at Aldermarsh.
