The Unfurling One is as prickly as nettles and as soft as tulip petals. They are fierce and rebellious, tearful and needy. Ready to take on the world but longing to hide away. Storms one minute, sunshine the next, and in between the emergent beauty of the rainbow.
Their season is Spring, their holy day the Vernal Equinox, their lunar phase the First Quarter Moon, their life stage the teen years.
You’ll find them in the leaping of a wild hare, in the uncoiling of a fiddlehead fern, in a weedy dandelion whose medicine is not always obvious. They’re contradictory, paradoxical, fluid in their expression, neither one nor the other but both/and.
They’ll unfurl into a fresh new version of themself, roots going down, tendrils rising up.
